Double Page Spread

My next task was to create a double page spread based on my interview. Before i started designing this i researched and looked into existing designs. I found that on most double page interviews there was an enlarged image of the member which was being interviewed and an image of the whole band. I decided to use an enlarged image but didn't include an imager of the whole band as they were on my magazine cover.

I studied the questions that were being asked in an indie magazine, there were short questions and detailed answers. I did not want to make the answers short as this would lose the effect of the indie style and become more like a childs magazine interview.

My final design was a success and looked like a real interview. I chose to include the bands name enlarged at the top and underneath used the words, 'exclusive interview' this creates an effect that this interview is only in my magazine. I used a dark background again and used the three dominant colours, red, black and white, by keeping to my house style a professional look was portrayed. I used an enlaged image of the intervewed band member on the first page and included a quoe. The interview took place on the second page. I chose to se thefont colour white as it was based on a black background.
